In 2026, the University of Melbourne community will come together for its first Relay For Life event, supporting Cancer Council’s work while celebrating and remembering people whose lives have been touched by cancer. Melbourne University Relay For Life 2026 will take place on Saturday, 21 November 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Melbourne University Athletics Track, Tin Alley, Parkville, VIC 3052.
Relay For Life is designed as a community experience that brings people together to recognize and celebrate cancer survivors, support those currently experiencing cancer, and acknowledge the carers who stand beside them. It also provides an opportunity to honour and remember loved ones who have lost their lives to cancer.
Participants can form or join teams and take part in the event while raising vital funds for Cancer Council’s research, prevention, and support services. Every contribution helps advance efforts to save more lives and move closer to a cancer-free future. The Melbourne University event is an opportunity for students, staff, families, friends, and the wider community to come together in solidarity with people affected by cancer.
