PricewaterhouseCoopers, CapitalConnect and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre Appeal arehosting the Mergersand Acquisitions 2007 Charity Dinner in the Edwin Flack Room at Southbank.
The night will be an informal meeting of minds, coming together to enjoy ice-bobbing welcoming drinks, a mouth-watering three course dinner and some light entertainment performed by world renowned songstress and diva Bernadette Robinson, who studied under soprano singer Dame Joan Hammond and recently graced stages in Berlin, San Francisco, the Sydney Opera House and the Melbourne Concert Hall.
Olivia Newton-John will address dinner guests in a pre-recorded interview made specially for the event, and there will be an intellectual exchange after dinner with Mergersand Acquisitions executives Peter Mastos of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Simon McKeon of Macquarie Bank, Marie McDonald of Blake Dawson Waldron and Avi Gilboa of CCMP Capital Asia.
All proceeds from the dinner will go to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre Appeal, an initiative promising to build a cancer centre providing select therapies unavailable in Australia. The appeal has already attracteda $1 milliondonation from the National Australia Bank.
