Kiwi Miss Universe is one of the contestants awaiting the announcement of the winner of the Miss Universe competition.
21 year-old Ria van Dyke who has been studying sociology will give a gift an Aotearoa-influenced Dave Sotogi painting, which will be auctioned off to benefit HIV and AIDS research.
Miss Universe will be crowned tonight in Las Vegas.
