“Pretty in Pink” Mother’s Day brunch – Culinary Institute of America, Route 9, Hyde Park. Sunday. Seatings at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Charity event to benefit the Grace Smith House for domestic violence and the Culinary Institute of America’s scholarship fund. $45 $20, children 12 and younger free for children younger than 3. Reservations must be made online at . 845-905-4675. Free tours for mothers at Mount Gulian – Mount Gulian Historic Site, 145 Sterling St., Fishkill. Sunday. The site will celebrate Mother’s Day with free tours for mothers at 1:30 and 3 p.m. Regular admission is $8 $6, senior citizens $4, 6-18 under 5, free. Admission includes tour of the historic house, Dutch barn and restored garden. 845-831-8172. Garden Tour – Clermont State Historic Site, 1 Clermont Ave., Clermont. 1 p.m. Sunday. Spring planting and Mother’s Day tea. $10 per person. Reservations required. 1-518-537-4240. Mother’s Day at Ashokan – Ashokan Center, 477 Beaverkill Road, Olivebridge. 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Brunch at 10 a.m. Mothers will be treated to an herbal body care spa while the rest of the family will gather to make a craft for Mom to take home. The morning will end with a guided walk among the waterfalls and forests of Ashokan. $14.95 for brunch only $7.40 children under 10 for brunch only. $35 per person for brunch, spa, craft and walk. 845-657-8333 ext. 14.
