Motorcycle charity drive set for Saturday

NORTHWEST INDIANA The American Diabetes Association, Indiana Area, is teaming up with American Bikers Aimed Toward Education of Indiana for a 2009 state charity
drive to fight diabetes. Northwest Indiana ABATE chapters will begin the campaign this weekend. The Lake County event will start at 9 a.m. at Sam’s Club in Hobart, at U.S. 30 and Colorado Street. It is scheduled to end around 5 p.m.
Funds raised through these events will help provide financial assistance for children from Indiana who attend ADA’s Camp John Warvel, a summer camp in Indiana for children with diabetes.
