Last week saw new charity STOP launched in Sydney to battle the rise in obesity in Australia.
World boxing champion Kostya Tszyu is the new ambassador for STOP (Solutions to Obesity Problems) in promoting good health, fitness, and programs and products designed to create freedom from obesity. He attended the launch at The Four Seasons on Thursday with other sporting heroes and celebrities eager to gather corporate and government support for the fledging charity organisation.
Obesity is generally recognised as one of Australias most serious health issues, and new charity STOP has launched its initiative to fight back.
