Ocean Colour Scene Frontman Turns Pub Singer For Charity 2009: Involved Ocean

Ocean Colour Scene frontman turns pub singer for charity

Get involved OCEAN Colour Scene frontman Simon Fowler will perform at a Solihull pub tomorrow to raise money for a children’s charity.
Local couple Louise and Ashley Gargan will be transforming the Drum and Monkey in Dorridge into a fundraising hotspot as part of the event in aid of The Child Growth Foundation. They say the charity has provided them with “invaluable” support since their son, Robbie, now three, was born with a rare genetic growth disorder. The family-friendly event will take place from noon at the pub in Four Ashes Road. Louise said: “We are raising money for the charity due to the support that they have provided to us since Robbie was born and the fantastic work that they do for all of the other families in the same situation as us.”
