Get involved Pre-school children from St Nicholas’ Nursery in Guisborough and many other youngsters helped to make a big difference to other less fortunate
children, by taking part in the Barnardo’s Big Toddle 2009, also supported by the Gisborough Priory Project. This includes services for children with disabilities and young carers and mums and dads who need support to help their children. In bright sunshine youngsters from all over the region walked in the shade of the old lime trees of the historic Monks’ Walk and rambled happily over the grounds of the ancient priory. Organiser Judith Arber, Gisborough Priory Project treasurer, said: “The event has been a huge success and the children have had a wonderful time. And every one has received a medal and certificate for taking part.” gazettelive, the Evening Gazette newspaper online. Latest local news from Teesside, Middlesbrough and the North East.
