PEOPLE and businesses who make an outstanding contribution to life in Bootle will be honoured at a glittering event this evening (Thursday, April 30).
The dinner will be hosted by Radio Merseyside’s Roger Phillips at Bootle Town Hall. Organised by Bootle Town Centre Partnership, which promotes business in Bootle, the awards are a celebration of success and are designed to recognise individuals and companies from all sectors of industry, charity and the public sector. The awards were free to enter and were open to any company or individual within the Bootle area (Linacre and Derby wards). Bootle town centre manager Chris White said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight the great business and training that takes place in Bootle and to focus on the successes of individuals and companies in and around the town. “This is the first time we have held these awards, and in terms of the entries we have received, we have had a fantastic response.
