White Spot restaurant is raising money to send kids to summer camp.
The B.C. restaurant chain celebrated the 40th anniversary of its children’s Pirate Pak meals by selling them to customers of any age. Turning the successful event into an annual affair, White Spot will use Pirate Pak Day sales to raise money for Zajac Ranch for Children, a charity dedicated to offering summer camp for kids with serious chronic disabilities. From Aug. 24-28, the ranch will host White Spot Week, offering 25 children a week of activities, including riding horseback, swimming, canoeing and archery.
