Thousands of women stripped to their bras for a late-night trek yesterday with extra support from chatshow host Paul O’Grady.
The uplifting TV star wore an illuminated basque to start the Playtex MoonWalk across London in aid of cancer charities. He started the event after meeting founder Nina Barough at our Pride of Britain Awards. He said: “Cancer seems to touch everybody.” Over 15,000 MoonWalkers, including DJ Sara Cox, helped raise £6million by walking either a full or half marathon around the streets of central London, finishing in Hyde Park, in brightly decorated bras to help raise awareness and funds for vital breast cancer causes.
