DARK SIDE: David Walliams revealed some of his troubles Little Britain star, David Walliams has revealed that he battles with daily insecurities about his
career and love life. On the BBC Radio 4 show, Desert Island Discs, the actor revealed a dark side to his personality, a world away from his personas on the hit TV show with Matt Lucas. When Walliams (37) was asked what luxury item he would opt to have with him if shipwrecked, he said that he would bring a gun to end his life. “I can’t stand being on my own. I hate it,” he said. “When I’m with my own thoughts I start to unravel and I start to think real dark thoughts, self-destructive thoughts. “If someone said ‘you have to spend a weekend on your own’, I couldn’t hack it,” he admitted.
