INVESTIGATION CONTINUES FORT ERIE -Police are still trying to determine how a knife ended up buried at the base of a school playground slide.
The hunting knife was discovered -with its blade facing up -at St. George’s Catholic School in Crystal Beach Monday morning. “We continue to investigate the incident,” Det. Sgt. NEW PROGRAM WELLAND — A new emergency preparedness program will be unveiled at Niagara Region Children’s Safety Village next week.
The educational program is designed to address learning needs of children from senior kindergarten to Grade 6. It will provide children with information and activities to increase their awareness about personal emergency preparedness.
