At the beginning of the workweek, a massage sounds like it really would hit the spot.
Starting Saturday, High Country residents can receive massages from professional massage therapists for one dollar per minute and all the proceeds will go toward an area charity. Lauri White and Eileel Laird are organizing the Massage for Hunger event, which will last through the first three week of May. Twelve professional message therapists will be participating as well as the graduating students of Caldwell Community College’s massage therapy program. Massages will be given at Bare Essentials Natural Market on Boone Heights Drive in Boone. Interested residents are urged to stop by Bare Essentials for more information.
