After winning the Alan Border medal, jointly with Michael Clarke (pictured right), Ricky Ponting (pictured left) celebrated his victory with the kids at the Children’s Cancer Centre.
Ponting and his wife Rianna took a trip to Monash Medical where they offered nine-year-old cancer survivor, Riley Harris, the opportunity to carry the Aussie team flag at the MCG at the start of tonight’s one-day clash with New Zealand.
‘It puts everything into perspective,’ said Ricky Ponting at the Children’s Cancer Centre ‘Every time we walk into a hospital it makes us more passionate about what we want to do.’
