Ride for the Oncology Children’s Foundation at the City of Sydney Spring Cycle

Make tomorrow a reality for kids with cancer
The Oncology Childrens Foundation (OCF) is a not-for-profit childrens charity dedicated to finding a cure for sick and critically ill children suffering from cancer, leukaemia and other serious cancer related illnesses.
In Australia today more children die of oncology related conditions than any other disease. In 2006 over 700 Australian children under the age of 16 were diagnosed with cancer. 30 years ago most children with cancer died, now 75 per cent can be cured permanently. Unfortunately one in four dont survive.
The City of Sydney Spring Cycle (springcycle.com.au) is a fantastic event suitable for all ages and fitness levels and there are a variety of rides across the city to choose from. Sign up to do the ride ahnd sign up to support OCF and raise some money for childhood cancer research too.
OCF raises money to fund The Oncology Research Units at The Childrens Hospital, at Westmead and The University of NSW. OCF is dependent on public and corporate support.
Mike Whitney and the team from Network 7s Sydney Weekender will cycle be cycling from North Sydney and raising money for OCF in the process.
OCF will be serving seriously good coffee at the start of the North Sydney ride. Tobys Estate are proud sponsors of the OCF cafe at St Leonards Park on the morning of the ride.
