Rugger star urges people to join his charity challenge at Coombe

Get involved RUGBY Union player and Strictly Come Dancing star Kenny Logan made a visit to Coventry encouraging people to join his unique sporting
challenge. His new venture, Logan’s Challenge, will involve tasks that vary from running to walking and mind tests in lateral thinking, observation and logic. Kenny is married to TV sports presenter Gabby Logan, who was brought up in Cannon Hill, Coventry, when her footballing father Terry Yorath played for the Sky Blues. Coombe Abbey Park was selected as one of five prime locations to host mini assault courses, body skills tests, cycling contests and running exercises. The star met with staff at Coventry’s Sports Centre, in Fairfax Street, city centre, to drum up more support. He said: “We wanted to pick parts of the country where the people are really passionate about their area.
“We’re hoping to get thousands of people to take part but the numbers entering have not been brilliant. You don’t have to be super fit. It’s a way of learning more about yourself and having a good time.
