On receipt of a plague of rumors about her weight, Scarlett Johansson has addressed the issue and spoken up for NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association).
The star has been training to get into “superhero shape” for her upcoming role in the Iron Man sequel, but says that she has always had a healthy body image and advocates for responsible weight management, ‘eating a proper diet and maintaining a healthy amount of exercise’.
The star also mentions the some ’10 million females and 1 million males living in the US [who] are fighting a life and death battle with anorexia or bulimia’, and reprimands the media for being ‘reckless and dangerous’ in treating the issue irresponsibly.
