Mark your calendars for an event that the whole family will enjoy and remember for years to come! This August 17, LOROS Hospice, an organization based in United Kingdom that delivers “free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers,” will be having the LOROS’ Big Day Out. Taking place at the hospice’s grounds, this event promises to be a fun one for everybody with bouncy castles, mini golf courses, food and craft stalls, as well as face painters and balloon sculptors, all over the venue. There will even be adorable alpacas for everyone to gush over! The hospice will also host tours on this day, for you to fully understand how your support makes a big difference in the lives of terminally ill patients.
After returning with a bang in 2023, we are excited to announce our 2024 date for your diary! Join us for our free, family fun day on Saturday 17th August 2024 here at LOROS Hospice.
Our beautiful Hospice grounds will host outdoor games, bouncy castles and mini golf whilst also giving children the chance to check out a police car and come face-to-face with adorable fluffy alpacas. With a range of food and craft stalls, games and activities, there’s something for everybody to enjoy.
Rapid Relief Team UK will be supporting us on the day by offering a tasty BBQ and there will be a range of sweet treats available for afterwards.
We’ll have balloon sculptors bringing cartoon characters to life with their balloon artistry. From Disney Princesses, to Harry Potter, there will be something for everyone.
Why not transform your child into their favourite super hero or animal by our amazing face painters or bedazzle yourself with a glitter temporary tattoo?
The Big Day Out is the perfect chance to discover what exactly Hospice care is and how we’re here for you. On the day we will be offering Hospice tours which will give you the opportunity to see first-hand how your support makes a world of difference to the services and facilities available to patients and their families.
