All living beings deserve to live a life free from cruelty and abuse. Unfortunately, that is not the case as animal abuse accounts for around 28% of recorded violent crimes, with dogs being the most abused animal globally. This is the problem that SOSD aims to address.

SOSD is a humane society dedicated to the welfare of Singapore’s stray dogs. Their various programs, such as trap-neuter-release-manage, rescue, adopt and rehome, and continuous public education on animal welfare, are effective at enhancing the lives of stray dogs in Singapore. However, these are costly. To raise funds for their programs, SOSD will be holding “SOSD Charity Dinner 2023 – Let’s Celebrate!” on August 11 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.

Help us to continue caring for the 197 dogs at The Animal Lodge and Jurong Island shelters and the 70 roaming stray dogs in Jurong Island. Our efforts in the Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage program in 2022 resulted in 167 dogs and puppies trapped and neutered or rescued, with 120 dogs finding new homes.
