It wont be strange Sunday peak hour traffic that crowds the streets of Perth on July 26: the fleet of trucks will be a charity convoy for kids.
Organizers hope over 400 truckies will take part as the fleet travel under police escort from Kewdale to Langley Park for the biannual event. Convoy For Kids raises money for Diabetes Research Foundation to fund research for a cure and support children living with juvenile diabetes.
Sunday drivers dont get the best rap, but when its being part of the traffic in Convoy For Kids, these truck drivers are charity champions. To join the fleet, contact the Transport Forum office on 9355 3022.
