Supporters donations revive Wildlife Aid open day

Wildlife Aid founder Simon Cowell said it would have been a tragedy to let the open day, which usually attracts up to 5,000 visitors,
die and the arrival of some donations in the nick of time had given trustees the confidence to press ahead. The charity is now appealing for more donations, not necessarily money but items which can be sold on the day to raise funds, or ones that will be useful for the event such as Tombola prizes, crafts, plants or cakes and pies.
