One of the world’s biggest annual events, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will kick off this weekend in Australia.
Cyndi Lauper, a veteran advocate for AIDS research and gay communities is this year’s festival concert queen and will perform live at the State Theatre.
The 2008 Mardi Gras Festival has heaps of outrageously fun charity events to take part in.
The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival Parade is on March 1, the festival runs from February 9 to March 2.
