A CHARITY is hoping teams of both men and women join in a tough Commando Challenge day to help inner city children.
“We’ve noticed the all-male teams are very competitive, so competitive in fact it can be quite funny to watch. “But saying that, some of the all-women teams are pretty competitive, too. “Last year the Devonshire Esporta team nearly beat the marines at rowing. I think they’re going to try to beat them this time.” The challenge sees a number of teams, all over 18, test themselves against members of 42 Commando Marines. The event takes place on April 26 from 10.30am to 3pm. The entry fee is £15 per person and includes a team T-shirt.
