Paddlers, it’s your time to shine! The Big Avon Paddle of Dorothy House will be happening on September 14 at The Boathouse Newbridge Road, Bath. The event is pirate-themed so show off your paddling skills in your best pirate look, as you sing songs like the Wellerman and the Drunken Sailor. Enjoy the picturesque route as you paddle to the finish line where you will be greeted with pizza and refreshments! Proceeds from the event will go to Dorothy House, an organization providing outstanding palliative and end of life care in our local community.
Join Dorothy House as we spend some time on the River Avon, raising money for vital hospice care in our community.
“You discover more about yourself when you do events like The Big Avon Paddle and it gives you a warm feeling to know you’re helping others. Get on board and join me on this September.”

Edward Everett Hale, author, historian, and minister, once said, “I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.” You may just be one, but one paddle can mean a lot for one patient. Sign up for The Big Avon Paddle here now.
