What's an interesting issue we'll discuss Our focus is helping, educating, training, and assisting nonprofits in the conduct of charity raffles.
We're new, we've done one so far and we are poised to do many, many more. We are dependent on a law which passed in 2001 in California authorizing charity raffles and will confine ourselves to those states with similar laws. Who should come Are newcomers welcome Of course, newcomers are welcomed. We'll start with anyone that is interested in the potential for their organization. We'll only work with organizations that have been chartered as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit for a minimum of two(2) years. And we prefer to work with organizations that are focused on supporting public education. Why should people come We have collected a lot of good information and we'll be collecting a lot more. We see ourselves as management consultants for nonprofits in a specific category of fundraising. We're a resource before we are a cost center. Do attendees need to participate or can they just listen Just listening is just fine, but we hope people have a lot of questions. How will members find you when they get there We are intending on having our meetings in the Hermosa Beach Community Center at 710 Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.
