The event, in its second year, aims to raise money for the Little Princess Trust, which provides “real hair” wigs for children who have lost their own, primarily through cancer treatments. Car enthusiast Chris Kavanagh, of Redditch, was inspired to join the rally after losing his mother, father and sister to cancer over a five-year period.
Chris bought his limited-edition car after it had been seriously damaged by vandals who had taken a Stanley knife to it. He then spent 12 months lovingly restoring it to its original state.
