Tired of watching it rain.
I know I can say that on behalf of every member of our sports staff. We were psyched that last week’s schedule was jam-packed with major local sports events. But rather than getting to tell you who won, we got to watch it rain. And rain. And rain. The Little Kanawha Conference softball tournament didn’t even get started. The LKC baseball tournament consisted of one semifinal game. Both sectional softball tournaments at Jackson Park, originally scheduled to be completed by last Friday, will resume today and may even continue into Tuesday.
We’ve now attended more rainouts than Brett Favre retirement parties.
