WEATHER presenter Si&acircn Lloyd will comp&egravere a St David’s Day charity concert held by the Shrewsbury Welsh Society.
The 90-strong Bridgend Male Voice Choir will perform at the event to raise money for the Hope House Children’s Hospices at 7.30pm on Saturday, February 28. At the Severn Theatre, on Frankwell Quay, the choir will be joined by Welsh League Championship winners, the BTM Band, and soprano Helen-Jane Howells. The evening will feature a mix of classical and folk music, traditional Welsh compositions, songs from the musicals and traditional male voice choir songs.
