Disneyland is already called the happiest place on Earth but is it possible for it to be even happier and more meaningful? With your participation, it is! On November 5, UNICEF HK will be holding Charity Run 2023, its annual flagship fundraising event, at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay. The largest road-running charity event in the country, this is open to everyone who wants to help make life better for children all over the world who are in dire need of help.

The 15th UNICEF Charity Run, organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF HK) and supported by the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletic Affiliates (HKAAA) will be held once again at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay. It is not only an annual flagship fundraising event for UNICEF HK, but also the largest road-running charity event in Hong Kong, offering 15 km Run, 10km Run, 5km Run and 3km Run (Youth, Wheelchair and Family) to individual runners and families. The 10km race is sanctioned by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and HKAAA and the results of 10km Run (Challenge) and 5km Run are accepted by HKAAA. Thanks to generous contributions of over 150,000 participants, individual and corporate donors, UNICEF Charity Run has raised more than HK$144 million to fulfill our mission of bringing positive changes to vulnerable children and their families in more than 190 countries and territories worldwide.

What is the objective of UNICEF Charity Run 2023?

To make United Nation Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being a reality for every child, UNICEF Charity Run 2023 is calling for 10,000 participants to join forces together and raise fund for the underprivileged children. Proceeds from UNICEF Charity Run 2023 will contribute to UNICEF global services in areas of health, nutrition, water and hygiene, and other children rights related initiatives.
