MIDDLEBORO — Church of Our Saviour is hosting its second annual Golf Tournament June 6 at the Lakeville Country Club.
The tournament is open to all in the community who would like to participate. The tourney will follow a “Best Ball” format with cash prizes of $240 going to the winning team and $160 to the second place team. Along with the cash prizes, there will be competition for the longest drive, shortest ball to the pin, and a putting competition. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and a shot-gun start will be at 1:30 p.m. Cost to play is $115 per person, which includes 18 holes, a cart (with welcome package), and the dinner. For those participating in the dinner alone the cost is $25. Because there is a limit to the numbers of teams, please have the forms filled out and submitted by June 1, or call the office to let us know you will be playing. MIDDLEBORO — The Saint Vincent DePaul Society of Sacred Heart Church will hold its fourth annual charity golf tournament on Sunday, June 7 at Squirrel Run Country Club in Plymouth. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. This tournament benefits their food Pantry in Middleboro and provides the majority of the funds needed to operate the pantry for the year ahead. The Sacred Heart Food Pantry has 240 families that depend upon them for help with their food on a monthly basis. This is your opportunity to help us to help them, by playing golf with us. The entry fee is $90 per person and is limited to the first 84 paid golfers. The entry fee includes a golf shirt, starter kit, greens fees, closest to the pin prizes on every hole, prizes to the top three teams and a full roast beef dinner as well as various raffles and auctions.
LAKEVILLE — Mullein Hill Christian Academy will hold its’ 7th annual golf outing on Monday, June 22 at Poquoy Brook in Lakeville.
