LEE COUNTY: A 12-year-old dance champion is raising money for the local YMCA by holding a vampire ball.
All she needs is a little love from you. Friday night, the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Fort Myers was in transition from a practice dance floor to a vampire ball. “It’s a romantic spin on the Vampire. They don’t eat people, they just fall in love a lot,” said Steve Wilkie, Fred Astaire Studio owner Love will be in the air, and on the dance floor, because of 12-year-old Chloe Hart. “You’re supposed to come as a vampire. But you don’t have to if you don’t want to,” she explained.
Hart is having the event on Valentine’s Day and she told us it’s all for charity.
