Virtual bus tour to highlight local real estate

For his enduring support for economic development in Manassas, Manassas Park and Prince William County while serving in the Virginia legislature, Sen.
Charles J. Colgan, D-Manassas, will be presented a lifetime achievement award by the Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce. Colgan is president pro tempore and chairman of the Finance committee. He is the longest serving member of the Senate, having assumed office in 1976. The tour will be guided by Steve Daves of R. W. Murray Co. and Roger Snyder of RWS Aerial Photogra-phy. They are prepared to share the inside scoop on new and current projects in the pipeline, as well as about companies planning to relocate in the area. Exhibitors include Norman Realty Inc., PNC Bank, Prince William County/ Greater Manassas Convention and Visitors Bureau and Washington Business Journal. Tickets are $65 for members and $80 for non-members. The cost also includes breakfast and a free "Tour Book" that lists more than 90 properties. The event is a must-attend for commercial realtors, developers and business people planning for growth. Golf tournament Sen. Charles Colgan, D-Manassas, will host Transitional Housing BARN (Benedictine Aid & Relief for Neighbors) Inc.'s annual charity golf tournament at Evergreen Country Club, 15900 Berkley Hay-market on May 28.
The tournament format is Captain's Choice and will feature a hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contests.
