Demelza Stafford has agreed to perform at the New Year’s Eve party or event of the highest bidder to raise funds for Metropolitan Police charity the Safer London Foundation (SLF). The prize is one of 40 that the charity has put under the hammer in its eBay auction. Other prizes include a flight in the Met’s helicopter India 99, a team coaching session by rugby player Shaun Edwards at the Wasps training ground, a chance to learn to drive a bus on a Transport for London simulator and a tour of the Met’s Crime Museum for ten people.
There is also a variety of music and sports memorabilia up for grabs including a signed copy of The Beatles album Hey Jude, a signed photo of the 1966 England football team and a signed Elvis Presley LP.
