Runners in this year’s Auckland Marathon will be running for the official marathon charity, the Heart Foundation as well as their own causes.
The marathon and half marathon events have already sold out but there are still places for the less intense events.
The lead up events were held over this past weekend.
The 2010 Auckland Marathon is on 31 October.
