George Clooney to be honored at The Carousel of Hope Gala

Actor and philanthropist George Clooney has done many charity events and he will be honored at The Carousel of Hope Gala in Beverly Hills, California for his humanitarian work. This is a biannual benefit Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes that will be held on October 20, 2012.

Clooney will also be presented with the Brass Ring Award for his many artistic accomplishments and extraordinary humanitarian activities. Both singers, song writers & pianists Aretha Franklin and Babyface will be performing at the event together with Jay Leno to serve as the master of ceremonies.
