The visions that we create for our children and the next generation shape their future. In empowering others through education, we not only enjoy life-changing moments for ourselves, but our small actions help in providing more opportunities for our community and the people around us. In Uganda, 7 out of 10 children don’t finish primary school, and due to COVID-19, millions of girls are forced out of school, half of them never coming back.
These numbers are statistics, but these too are realities that we could change with a little help. This is what the School for Life foundation envisions in their goal to mobilize communities by building schools in Rural Uganda. Help transform communities and build opportunities not only in terms of education but also employment and health care by supporting projects such as the Gala Ball 2023.
Now in its 13th year, School for Life’s Black Tie Gala Ball has raised more than $5 million of much needed funds towards our vision of a world where all children can access a quality education.
Recognised as one of Australia’s premier events on the social and philanthropic calendar, our Black Tie Gala Ball brings together 650 of the country’s prominent community and corporate elite for a glamorous and fun evening whilst making a tangible difference in the lives of children living in some of the poorest communities in rural Uganda.
We hope you will join us for a memorable and fun-filled night out as we raise funds to build a world where extreme poverty no longer exists!
