Access to safe water and sanitation can transform lives, helping children stay healthy, enabling families to thrive and giving communities greater opportunities for the future. WaterAid Australia works with local partners to improve access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, WaterAid Australia will host the New South Wales Emerald City Gala Ball at Sydney Town Hall. The elegant evening will bring together supporters and community members to help advance the organisation’s mission of making clean water, sanitation and hygiene accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Join us for a night like no other at the 2026 New South Wales WaterAid Gala Ball.

Get together for a spectacular evening with your clients, partners, staff, friends, and industry peers to raise money for WaterAid, and help reach communities all around the world with clean water.

Behind every fundraising effort is the potential to make a lasting difference. Reliable access to clean water helps reduce preventable illness, supports children’s education and gives communities the foundations they need to build healthier futures. By attending or supporting the gala, guests can contribute to work that reaches far beyond the ballroom.

The Emerald City Gala Ball offers an opportunity to enjoy a special evening while standing behind a cause that affects millions of people worldwide. Discover the event details and how to support WaterAid’s work here.
