Imagine a world where reading and writing are privileges reserved only for a select few. A world where children are denied the basic tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Unfortunately, this is the reality for millions of children around the globe who are unable to read or write. Illiteracy can be a cycle of poverty, with children born into impoverished families often lacking access to education. Without the ability to read or write, these children face a lifetime of limited opportunities and are more vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. It’s a heartbreaking reality that demands urgent attention and action.
Thankfully, there are organizations working tirelessly to break this cycle of illiteracy and provide children with the education they deserve. One such organization is World Vision, which has recently launched an innovative virtual reality experience to raise awareness and support for their work.
Imagine being a child who cannot go to school.
