“Pride goeth before a fall.” I think our misguided governor should contemplate this adage.
His talk of possibly refusing some federal stimulus money is a slap in the face to the people of South Carolina, who need this help. Why on Earth would he do such a thing If South Carolina doesn’t benefit from it, someone else will. I voted for this man, but now I believe he is more of a loose cannon than a governor. Wayne Crocker Enoree I do not believe it is right to criticize the Spartanburg School District 7 board members’ character for the initial decision they made concerning the golf team. The citizens of District 7 voted each one of the board members to his or her position. The citizens did so because these board members were fair and trusted people who have lived in our community. It doesn’t make sense that those same people are terrible people who make decisions only for their own benefit. Lewis Barnett
