is backing Girls Aloud for the BRITS this month, saying the group deserve to win an award at the prestigious ceremony.
The sassy five-piece are nominated for Best British Group and Dixon is hoping they take home the prize. “The Brits are the biggest event we have for music in this country,” Alesha told The Star. “I’m so happy Girls Aloud will be there and it’d be amazing if they win British band – although they are up against , who also deserve it.” Alesha Dixon is preparing for a charity climb up Mount Kilimanjaro as part of Comic Relief, and will be joined by two members of Girls Aloud – Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh.
