The Tudor period is between 1485 and 1603.  Back in those times, folks had no forks so they ate with knives, spoons, and their fingers. Sugar was also only for the rich, so having black teeth from eating it was a sign of wealth. You will hear about this, and more, during Author Afternoon Tea: The Tudors with Melita Thomas. Be sure to get your tickets because this will definitely be an afternoon for the books!
