The Variety Club UK will honour The Bee Gees at the Silver Heart Tribute Dinner and 50th Anniversay, held this year at the Palace Hotel in Manchester on Friday July 24.
The Variety Club are proud to announce that the highest accolade, the Variety Club Silver Heart Tribute award, will be bestowed upon world wide recording artists, The Bee Gees, for their outstanding services to the music industry on their 50th Anniversary.
The event will be the highest profile Variety Club UK event of 2009 and will take place in The Bee Gees home city of Manchester.
The dinner will be attended by celebrities from the world of entertainment, and will include a VIP reception with Barry Gibb CBE, Robin Gibb CBE, Maurice Gibbs wife, Yvonne and mother Mrs Barbara Gibb.
The Variety Club have been helping disabled and disadvantaged children less fortunate than others for 60 years and are delighted that all monies raised through this spectacular event will benefit the children of the North West.
