For the second consecutive year, 11-under-par 133 is the low score after two rounds (, -11, 2008). Ironically, David Eger, the tournament’s first champion, is the only 36-hole leader/co-leader to go on and win this event. • Thus far on the 2009 Champions Tour, Saturday leaders/co-leaders have won just five of the 17 official events played. was the last Saturday leader to win when he was up by one stroke and went on to win the U.S. Senior Open by six strokes. • The winner of tomorrow’s tournament will receive 270 Charles Schwab Cup points in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race. Funk currently leads the Schwab Cup race with 2,051 points. Roberts is second with 1,695 points and Langer is third with 1,615 points. The Schwab Cup offers $2.1 million in tax-deferred annuity payouts to the five leading finishers, with the winner receiving a $1 million payout. • Overall, the field average for Round 2 was 71.551 vs. 72.603 for Round 1. The Saturday stroke average last year at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge was 72.318. Today there were 41 rounds below par compared to 32 yesterday. • The toughest holes through two rounds of this year’s Boeing Classic has been the par-4 11th hole (4.301). The hole has given up just seven birdies in two rounds. The par-5 1st hole has played as the easiest hole (4.615). The hole has yielded four eagles and 67 birdies in two rounds. • The driveable par-4 14th hole at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge is the signature hole on the course. Today the hole played to a stroke average of 3.718 and gave up one eagle and 29 birdies. Of the 78 professionals in the field, 22 went for the green off the tee and it resulted in one eagle (), 13 birdies, five pars, two bogeys and one double-bogey.
