Charity fun day for Great Ormond Street Hospital will be tribute

1:00am Thursday 21st May 2009 A HEARTBROKEN family who lost their two-year-old son to leukaemia are holding a fundraising day for the hospital where
he died. Parents Karen and Jim Smith, of The Foxgloves, Billericay, were left with a huge hole in their lives when their second-born son, Harry, died of leukaemia in January. The tot had been rushed to two days after Christmas, but his parents never expected to be told he had acute myeloid leukaemia, a form of bone marrow cancer. Harry was quickly taken to Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, where he tragically died a few days later, on January 2. Mum, Karen, 30, said:
