Charity night raises 1941632500

An Independent Family-Owned Newspaper Menu Local News This Week News Charity night raises £2,500 The annual Tenby House Hotel charity night in memory of
Griff was held on August 5, and this year the event was lucky with the weather and had a lovely dry day. The evening was packed and everyone enjoyed the Steve Briers Disco from the balcony in the courtyard, especially some younger guests who were in fancy dress and had been competing in the Firemen’s Carnival earlier. There were plenty of games to keep the young ones occupied and a great selection of raffle prizes, many of which were donated by local businesses and attractions. “It is difficult to increase the amounts we raise, as I am sure every organisation doing similar events knows, but all of us know that ‘every little helps’ – so we continue,” said Lesley Fisher. “Our thanks go to everyone who donated a prize for the raffle, and the auction and to Andrew Rees Butchers, of Narberth, who supplied the barbecue meats. “Ward 10 greatly appreciate all donations received from the local community, as do the patients and their families. Once again, we would like to thank you for your continued support, as I know will everyone who has a connection with Ward 10.”
