The annual ball will take place at Battersea Evolution in London, where a star-studded audience will enjoy an evening of entertainment including an exclusive performance by singer songwriter, Rod Stewart. The youngster, who has spinal muscular atrophy, raised &pound330,000 at last year’s ball with a butterfly-themed picture she created for the auction with sister, Candice. The pair are currently putting the finishing touches to a piece of artwork for this year’s event, which they hope will have the same overwhelming success.
Tilly’s mother, Jackie Griffiths, said: “We are thrilled, it was an honour just to be invited to the ball but to have it renamed after the girls’ picture is just fantastic.
