Get involved SEAN Harwood will be “going yellow” by sitting in a bath of custard to help raise money for a charity in memory
of his grandmother. The 31-year-old, from Birchgrove, Cardiff, will be taking the plunge tomorrow from 11am when he will spend six hours sitting in the bath outside the Hilton Hotel, Cardiff. Sean’s grandmother Nancy Harrington was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the beginning of this year but died at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, on April 29 from pneumonia. “My grandmother was a lovely person,” said Sean, who works for a recycling company in Hirwaun. “She always looked after her grandchildren. I’m doing this in memory of her and for the George Thomas Hospice who were due to care for her before she died.” This year the George Thomas Hospice celebrates its 25-year anniversary and is inviting people to hold a yellow-themed event in aid of the charity. The bath for Sean’s stunt has been donated by Cardiff Bath Store.
