Double celebration at Army care home

8:00am Wednesday 29th April 2009 RESIDENTS at a Prestwich care home had two reasons to celebrate this week.
For the Salvation Army residential care home in Headlands Drive marked its 75th anniversary, while one occupant turned 100 years old. Staff and the 28 residents held a party on Saturday to celebrate 75 years since the former Eventide Home was donated to the charity. Home manager Theresa Blackburn said:
