Text DN News, leave a space, tell us your news, and send … 11:20am Wednesday 27th May 2009 A SEDGLEY blind charity is appealing for volunteers to take part in a fundraising event, which will see blind people get behind the wheel of a car. As well as blind and partially sighted volunteers, the event is also open to fully sighted people who will be blindfolded with special goggles to experience blindness. Children aged 12 and over are also able to take part as all participants will be driving a dual controlled car around a coned obstacle course and will be guided by a professional driving instructor at all times. All money raised will go towards the services and support the Wolverhampton Road East based charity offers to blind and visually impaired people living across the borough.
Participants will be asked to pay a registration fee of
